About me
I am a Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University in the Nutrition Liberation, Food Sovereignty, and Justice Lab, led by Dr. Angela Odoms-Young. I completed my Ph.D. in Environmental Health in May 2024 at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where I was advised by Dr. Roni Neff. My research focuses on developing equitable strategies to advance sustainable, healthy food systems. Before my Ph.D., I contributed to a multi-country collaboration exploring the role of academic institutions in advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. I hold an MPH from the Yale School of Public Health, where my research centered on the health impacts of climate change, and a BA in Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College.
The urgency of the climate crisis demands that we study strategies that will help prevent and prepare for the health and equity consequences
