Service & Outreach

I believe that it is important to play an active role in the communities where you live and work.

I am currently a member of several communities at Johns Hopkins University. I serve on two committees of the school-wide suitability leadership council, helping to promote interdisciplinary sustainability research and the development of a Campus as a Living Laboratory program. I also for several years have been a member of the Department of Environmental Health and Engineerings Research Committee and the student organization.

Recognizing my work, I was awarded the Graduate Student of Year sustainability award in 2021 and the Environmental Health and Engineering Service Award in 2021.
