Service & Outreach
I believe that it is important to play an active role in the communities where you live and work.
My current outreach focuses on research translation. I am a Fellow in the Research Translation Lab, part of the Climate and Health CAFÉ initiative facilitated by the Boston University School of Public Health and the Harvard School of Public Health. Learn more about the fellowship here.
During my time at Johns Hopkins University, I served on two committees within the school-wide Sustainability Leadership Council, where I promoted interdisciplinary sustainability research and contributed to the development of the Campus as a Living Laboratory program. I was also an active member of the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering’s Research Committee and student organization for several years. In recognition of my contributions to sustainability, I received both the Graduate Student of the Year Sustainability Award and the Environmental Health and Engineering Service Award in 2021
